George Laczko is a serial entrepreneur with a strong background in starting businesses from the ground up. He specializes in companies that don’t require much capital and are not employee-intensive. Most of the time, when George starts a new project, he works on perfecting its processes for 8 to 16 months before handing over the day to day operations to someone else. Once George has handed a company’s operations over, he gets started on another business venture.
George Laczko was born in Budapest. When he was young, his family moved to Toronto, which is where he spent the majority of his life. Today, he travels frequently and splits his time between Bulgaria, Thailand, and Canada. Most of his time is spent networking with other entrepreneurs, working on his latest business project, or looking for the next big opportunity.
Many of George Laczko’s new business ideas have come from George’s own experiences and needs. For example, George started his company, FobCopy.ca, after trying to have a fob copied in Toronto with little luck. His frustration soon led to him to the idea to launch his own RFID duplication business, which he has owned since 2016. George currently rents this website out to a friend who lives in Toronto.
George Laczko’s business, The Law of Investment, is a company committed to funding business ventures for other entrepreneurs. Although George is interested in a variety of business types, he is always on the lookout for up and coming companies that focus on lead generation, online sales, instructional information products, and virtual expertise services.
George Laczko is also a partner for Immigroup, which is a Toronto-based Canadian immigration consulting firm. This organization began as a brick and mortar business and operated that way for nine years. Then, in 2013, George and his business partners decided to change the business model by renting out the website, and driving leads to others in the field.
As Immigroup grew, George Laczko started AppliConsult Call Center to meet the increasing call center demands of the business. The call center began with seven full-time employees but is currently able to operate with just two people working at the office.
George Laczko also owns Heat180.com, a website that brings together members of the “Heat-Not-Burn” (HnB) community. HnB refers to tobacco products that are heated to create a flavorful nicotine-containing vapor that can be inhaled through the mouth. George was attracted to this technology because he saw it as a viable alternative to traditional cigarettes. His site, Heat180.com, as well as the company’s YouTube channel, provides a platform for HnB users to learn together and discuss and share their personal experiences.
George also runs his own website, GeorgeLaczko.com, as well as his own YouTube channel. He uses these platforms to share business ideas and network with entrepreneurs and influencers.
